zenicko_proljeceAt the next 19th International Cultural Manifestation “Zenica spring”, 33 programs from 7 countries of Italy, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia will be shown. The manifestation will be held from 20 March until 12 April.

This year the manifestation will be held under the slogan “Emotional attention”, which brings the seal from the current events on the Bosnian streets and it is marked by yellow stripes on which this slogan is written.

At this year’s poster, the dominant part is a heart made of paper on which the song from Aleksa Šantić “Why you do not arrive” is written.

During the spring, 10 theater pieces, 5 music and 8 literary events will take place. In addition, ballet night, 2 individual artistic performances, round tables, review of an Austrian movie, exhibition of the deceased photojournalist Hakija Lemeš, programs “On the traces of the Bosnian Kingdom” will all take place at the manifestation which will traditionally finish with the April showroom of artists.

“This year the program is reduced to 33 events, because the budget of the manifestation is reduced to only 60 000 BAM, all in accordance with the budget of Zenica municipality for this year”. According to Zijad Softić, the president of the Organizational Board of “Zenica Spring” said that “even though the budget is cut down, the quality of international and domestic programs will not be absent.”
