34 Persons suspected for Criminal Offenses

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska submitted reports to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the detection of perpetrators of criminal offenses against 34 persons due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offenses of “Unauthorized trade in weapons and military equipment and dual-use products”, “Human smuggling”, “Arson”. “Creating general danger” and “Insurance fraud”.

The report was made as part of the action codenamed “Storage”.

In addition to international smuggling of narcotics, people and weapons, members of the criminal group are suspected of having taken actions in previous agreements aimed at intimidating police officers and other persons in various ways, such as damaging and destroying personal property by arson and activating mine-explosive devices.

Namely, the persons with the initials M.L. and D.L. who are accused of being the organizers of a criminal group, are suspected of being 13.12.2019. together with M.R. in the area of ​​Gradiska committed the crimes of “Creating general danger” and “Arson”.

It is suspected that the acts were carried out in such a way that persons placed and activated an explosive device in front of a catering facility, which is located within the city stadium, and which is owned by a family member of the manager of the Gradiska Police Department. At the same time, they set fire to the sawmill in Gradiska, which is owned by members of the family of a police officer of the Gradiska Police Department.

Also, the faces of M.L. and D.L. are accused of having organized the execution of the criminal offense “Creating general danger”, which was committed on September 1, 2020, by placing an explosive device in front of a person’s house in order to intimidate him.
