The Government of the Brčko District adopted today a decision on the allocation of 357,000 BAM for the implementation of projects of importance for the economic development and promotion of the district this year.

These funds, adopted at the proposal of the Department for Economic Development, Sports and Culture, are intended for the organization of the 20th International Trade Fair, the 19th Beekeeping Fair, networking of businessmen through the activities of the Brčko District Chamber of Commerce, the digitization and smart logistics project, and the presentation of the local economy at fairs during this year, specified the Government of Brčko.

At the regular session of the Government, consent was given to the Program to support the recovery of economic entities from the consequences of force majeure, i.e. from floods and fires, with the aim of restoring damaged production, business and storage capacities and preserving economic stability.

The Brčko District Government also approved the Program for the allocation of capital donations to individuals for Roma housing in the total amount of 146,000 BAM, which will be implemented by the Department for Displaced Persons, Refugees and Housing Issues with the aim of social inclusion of this population.

At the proposal of the Department for European Integration and International Cooperation, representatives of the District Government were appointed to the new convocation of the Roma Committee at the Council of Ministers, Srna writes.
