39 new Cases of Coronavirus Infection have been confirmed in Sarajevo

In the Sarajevo Canton, 39 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed. These are the results of testing 406 samples, collected from August 22 to 25 this year.

Of this number of newly infected, 25 or 64.1 percent of them belong to family clusters, and they are in self-isolation from before.

At the same time, 71 people recovered, reducing the number of active cases of coronavirus infection in Sarajevo Canton to 532.

At Podhrastovi Hospital, 47 patients are being treated, two of whom are using respiratory support for breathing. Two people were released from this hospital treatment yesterday.

In the past 24 hours, unfortunately, one patient died of the infectious disease COVID-19, so that the total number of deaths in the Sarajevo Canton increased to 66.

There are currently 990 people in self-isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Sarajevo Canton, 3,758 people have been infected with the new coronavirus, while a total of 3,160 have recovered.
