At the great joy of the youngest ones and their parents, the 4th Children’s Fair was opened on Friday, October 27, 2017, in Sarajevo’s Skenderija, and it will last until October 29.

The Children’s Fair is a leading event for children up to 10 years of age in the whole region. It takes place twice a year, in spring in Rijeka, in autumn in Zagreb, and this year, in Mostar and Sarajevo as well.

This year, the Children’s Fair, thanks to numerous partners and friends, will present current trends in the production of children’s goods and equipment, as well as novelties that contribute to the creation and development of a healthy and safe family. With numerous games, workshops, creative corners, large playrooms, mascots and animators, the youngest ones will also have the opportunity to present their talents and work with educators and parents on the fair stage. The fair’s festival itself, which will unite the various performances of numerous organizations that are working with children, distinct the Children’s Fair as a project that gives the opportunity to the youngest to be seen and for their voice, word, talent, and effort to be appreciated.

The fair is treating the great attendance and interest of children and parents as an advantage and the opportunity to put an emphasis on the current issues in the community, the importance of the family and the rights of every child, by waking up a child in every one of us. In line with this mission, this year’s goal of the fair is to emphasize the importance of the process of inclusion and the awareness that all children are equal, with equal rights, and that we as a society have the obligation to provide equal opportunities for every child.

The Children’s Fair will also include a series of lectures and counseling centers for parents for acquiring new knowledge about the healthy and safe raising of a child, as well as many other topics that are related to the well-being of a child and the whole family.

The entrance to the fair is free of charge.
