Symbol of Sarajevo Olympics Restored in Dobrinja

vucko-2On the building in a neighborhood in Dobrinja II, the restoration of the mural of Vučko, the symbol of the XIV Winter Olympic games in Sarajevo is complete.

Given that the symbol of Vučko was damaged and faded, Novi Grad municipality restored this symbol on occasion of the marking of the 30 years since the Olympic Games in Sarajevo.

‘’All those who remember Vučko know what this meant for the citizens of Sarajevo. In the building where Vučko is drawn, foreign journalists stayed there during the Sarajevo Winter Olympics. 30 years ago, Municipality Novi Grad Sarajevo participated in the organization of the Olympic Games, and now seeks to revive the Olympic spirit’’, said the Assistant to the Mayor for Education, Culture, Sport and Local Integration of the development of municipality Novi Grad Elvir Resić.
