528 Unemployed Persons from Sarajevo to get Jobs soon

The employment of 528 persons from the records of the unemployed of the Public Institution “Employment Service of the Sarajevo Canton” have been approved, it was announced from this service.

According to the statement, the Management Board of the Service adopted three lists according to the announced public calls, as follows: program of co-financing the employment of appropriate professional staff for working with children with disabilities, which enables employment of 51 unemployed persons, “Employment for All” employment co-financing program, which enables employment of 151 unemployed persons, and the value of the program is 1,449,600 BAM, as well as the Public Works Program, which enables employment of 326 unemployed persons, and the value is 576,915 BAM.

After adoption by the Steering Board of the Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton, the lists were forwarded through the Ministry of Labor, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees for approval to the Government of Sarajevo Canton, which approved them yesterday. This created the conditions for signing contracts with employers on hiring unemployed people from the bureau of the Public Institution “Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton” Sarajevo.

The approved programs will employ a total of 528 unemployed persons and the Public Institution “Employment Service of the Sarajevo Canton” Sarajevo has allocated a total of 2,352,915 BAM for this purpose.

At the same time, that institution is currently implementing a program for the employment of medical staff, 102 unemployed persons, and the value of the program is 1,105,122 BAM.

In the last ten days, the activities of the Public Institution “Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton”, the Steering Board of that institution, the Ministry of Labor, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees and the Government of Sarajevo Canton have approved and implemented programs worth 3,458,037 BAM will result in the engagement of 630 unemployed persons from the bureau of the Public Institution “Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton”.
