534 active Cases of Coronavirus Infection in Sarajevo

Of the 152 people tested in the Sarajevo Canton in the past 24 hours, five were positive for coronavirus, according to the Public Health Institute of Canton Sarajevo.

In Sarajevo Canton, with these results, there are currently 534 active cases of coronavirus infection, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

There are currently 39 people in hospital in the Isolation of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. No patient was connected to a respirator.

Five people were released from hospital treatment yesterday. Two people passed away yesterday.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Sarajevo Canton, 14,763 people have been tested for coronavirus.

To date, a total of 710 have been confirmed infected, of which 163 have been cured and nine people have died. Four people were transferred to a hospital outside BiH and there are currently 902 people in self-isolation.
