60 new Police Officers in the MIA of Zenica-Doboj Canton

slika-zaslona-2016-09-09-u-15-53-43Official taking of the oath by 60 candidates of the 27th generation of police officers was held yesterday in the Grand Hall of the City of Zenica.

After successfully completing training at the Police Academy of the federal Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sarajevo, 60 candidates were promoted to the rank of police officer in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

Ceremony was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Nikola Arsenić and police Commissar Semir Šut. In his addressing speech, Šut gave guidelines for new police officers and instructions that will lead them to higher ranks and make them better people and responsible policemen in the best possible way.

Minister of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Nikola Arsenić stated that we are living in the time that is marked with uncertainty and lack of security on national and global plan and that ministries of internal affairs and other police agencies are facing many challenges, which is why the need for new staff arises. He added that a public competition for another 100 police officers was published this year, with the aim of solving the issue of staff shortage.

Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Miralem Galijašević wished luck to the new police officers and invited them to do their job honorably.

After taking the oath, police officers signed the ethical code of police officers and contracts of employment.
