71 Cases of Coronavirus confirmed in Sarajevo Canton

According to this morning’s data from the Sarajevo Canton Public Health Institute, after the processing of 266 tests, a total of 71 positive cases were confirmed in Sarajevo Canton.

These are the results of the analysis conducted in the past 24 hours on samples collected in the period from July 23 to 26 this year.

With these results, there are currently 1,252 active cases in Sarajevo Canton.

There are 73 people in hospital in the Isolation of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo.

Most of them are vitally stable, while two people use respirator support when breathing.

In the past 24 hours, the recovery of seven people from the infectious disease COVID-19 was recorded, which increased the number of people cured in the Sarajevo Canton to 730 people, while 25 died.

In the period from July 13 to 27 this year, based on the recommendations of epidemiologists, decisions of the inspection or the Ministry of Health of KS, 1,725 self-isolations were ordered, it was announced from the Office for Protocol and Press of Canton Sarajevo.
