8.846 Flooded Residential Buildings recorded in Bijeljina

imageInventory crews have, up until now, recorded 8.846 flooded residential buildings in the area of Bijeljina.

 

This job is continued by two mobile teams who respond to citizen’s calls.

 

From the Headquarters for Emergency Situations in Bijeljina it is confirmed that the water level of Sava river is increasing, and in the last 24 hours it increased by 12cm (38cm in total in the past three days).

 

Water level of Drina River is at a standstill.

 

In the area of Bijeljina the decision of emergency about the inhabited localities: Velino Selo, Trnjaci, Jelaz, Ostojićevo, Balatun, Brodac, Batković – Klis, Vršani I Novi, is still in power.

 

The work on recovering the banks of Sava and Drina continues as well as the works on the Drina-Glogovac canal.
