Head of Municipality Novi Grad Sarajevo Semir Efendić and head of Municipality Beyoglu in Istanbul Ahmet Misbah Demircan signed an agreement of co-operation yesterday in Sarajevo.

It is a first important step of co-operation that will especially apply on the area of economy and employment, said Efendić.

He added that the Municipality Novi Grad can use the good experiences of Beyoglu Municipality, that has, in the last 12 years since it is led by Ahmet Misbah Demircan, opened 90.000 new work positions.

Municipality head Demircan assumes that some of the investors will be interested in investing in Municipality Novi Grad I building Hotels.

Signing this agreement is very good for us in order to have close contact with those who do their job well. I believe it will result in us doing better, said Efendić and noted that the advantage of Sarajevo is the vicinity of mountains and the interest of people in winter tourism.
