In the continuation of the operation codenamed “Catering”, investigators of the KS MUP Police Department on Friday evening deprived Adnan Maglić (41) and Haris Ćatović (36) of their freedom, after they surrendered to the police authorities.
As announced by the KS MUP, Maglić and Ćatavić are suspected of criminal acts of extortion and causing general danger, while Maglić is also charged with illegal possession of weapons.
“The suspects are currently undergoing criminal investigation,” the police added.
Action “Catering” is the result of a months-long investigation conducted by the investigators of the Police Department of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton, and in cooperation with the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the technical assistance of the State Agency for Investigation and Protection.
After the criminal investigation at the KS MUP Police Department, ten suspects who were arrested in this operation were handed over to the KS Prosecutor’s Office today.
