90 Percent of Voters in Embassy of Serbian in Sarajevo Voted

At the polling station of the Embassy of Serbia in B&H, 90 percent of registered voters who have the right to vote in the early parliamentary elections in Serbia voted, said to Srna the Deputy Ambassador Gordana Božić.

She said that the polling station closed at 20:00 and that the Embassy will not process the ballots, which will be immediately sent to the National Election Commission in Belgrade.

‘’The turnout was very good. There were no irregularities or annulment lists, and everything transpired without a single incident’’, said Božić, who is the President of the Electoral Committee.

The polling station in the Embassy of Serbia in B&H opened on Sunday at 7:0. 129 voters are registered at the polling place in Sarajevo.

In the General Consulate of Serbia in Banja Luka, 494 of the 535 voters from B&H with the right to vote in early elections in Serbia voted, said this Consulate to Serbia. The Consulate said that the voting passed in a peaceful way. The polling station closed at 20:00. The votes will be counted at the Consulate, and the first results will be known during the night.

Early parliamentary elections were held in Serbia on Sunday, which was announced by Serbia’s President Tomislav Nikolić on 29 January. 19 political parties and coalitions are taking part in these elections.
