In Montenegro, as of October, 91 people had deposits of more than one million euros in banks, of which 34 were Montenegrin citizens, and the rest were foreigners, the Central Bank of Montenegro announced.
The total deposits of the ten largest depositors in banks amount to 336.8 million euros and range from 23.3 to 51.8 million euros.
“In the structure of the largest depositors, six resident legal entities prevail, followed by three non-resident legal entities and one natural person, also a non-resident”, announced the Central Bank of Montenegro.
As they stated, total deposits in banks in September 2023 amounted to around 5.5 billion euros and recorded an intensive growth of 11.24 percent on an annual basis, while on a monthly basis they increased by 0.37 percent.
Of this, household deposits were 1.8 billion euros, which is a growth of 12.94 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
On a monthly basis, an increase of 1.24 percent was recorded.
