Selmir Mujagic is a young innovator from Bosanska Otoka, who lives in Austria for three years now.
After schooling in Bihac and Sarajevo, he went to Vienna where he enrolled at the National Academy for Retail – IT College BHAK10 Wien.
“I learned about IT College from my best friend Sacir, to whom I extend my gratitude since this college was a real turning point in my life. A lot of good things happened during my studies. I presented a few ideas that I’ve been thinking about to my professors at the very beginning and they were delighted. The first two semesters I was the best student in my department. I’m on the third semester now,” said talented innovator Mujagic.
While studying, the young man from Bosanska Otoka also works, and he participates in three projects. One of them is Liberty Stand, and the other is Sahara Style.
Liberty Stand is a holder, compatible to all mobile phones, tablets, e-books…
“Its application is huge, because I like to say that I do not offer a holder, but opportunities that come with it. Liberty Stand consists of a holder, two Powerbanks with 5000 mAh and magnets that allow you to put your cell phone in any position and under any angle. Also, it has a function of a selfie stick. My idea was to gather all the problems we are facing with and offer a solution for all of them – which is Liberty Stand,” said the young inventor.
He is planning to launch a campaign on Kickstarter, the largest crowdfunding platform based in the US, in the middle of next year.
“Knowledge is important, however, it is even more important to love what you do. That love will motivate you when you fail, when you’re tired, when you think that there are no more solutions… In all of this, my biggest support is my family, as well as people in BiH who impressed me with their reaction. Honestly, I’m surprised how many of them came forward and offered support. I will present my country with pride because I will never forget where I came from.”
“I would say only one thing and that is, life is very short. We do not have much time to spend on nonsense. I believe that there is a lot of talented young people in our BiH, that would be the pride of our country, if they only get the chance that was given to me. I just hope you will not have to move a long way to find it,” said Mujagic.
