On the occasion of Montenegro’s accession to NATO, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Denis Zvizdić congratulated the prime minister of Montenegro Dusko Markovic, considering an accession to be a historical achievement.
“Montenegro’s entry into the family of the most powerful countries of the world, an alliance that protects democratic values, represents an important step forward in preserving the peace and stability of the entire Western Balkans region,” Zvizdic said.
Moreover, he stressed that Montenegro’s admission to the NATO alliance is a sign of the continuation of an open door policy towards the Euro-Atlantic orientation of the whole region into this important institution.
