A 76-year-old Man was found dead in Sarajevo’s Old Town

A 76-year-old man was found dead on Sunday in an apartment in the municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo.

The on-site investigation was carried out by the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton, members of the Police Department of the MoI of the Sarajevo Canton, and an authorized medical expert. The investigation concluded that the death of the 76-year-old man was caused by violence, the MoI of the Sarajevo Canton announced today.

Members of the Police Administration, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton, undertake all necessary measures and actions in order to clarify and document the criminal offense of murder.
