A Blockade of the BiH Council of Ministers is possible after the Session was postponed

The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Borjana Kristo (HDZ), did not want Thursday’s session to take place, so she requested additional consultations on the items on the agenda.

This culminated in the 11th session being postponed to another date. The reason is the disagreement of the ministers regarding all items on the agenda.

As it was found out, dissatisfied with this move by the chairperson, ministers Zoran Tegeltija, Stasa Kosarac, and Nenad Nesic will not appear at the next session of the Council of Ministers of BiH, which will represent a new political crisis and a blockade of the work of state institutions.

At the moment, it is not known whether their boycott will last only one session or if it will be extended for a longer period.

They have also previously demanded that the New Eastern Interconnection agenda item be put on the agenda for this session, and it is about the Draft Basis for the Agreement on Conducting Negotiations for the Conclusion of the Agreement between BiH and Serbia on the construction of a gas pipeline along the border between Serbia – BiH – Bijeljina – Banja Luka – Prijedor – Novi Grad”.

At the same session, the Southern Interconnection should have been voted on, and it is about the gas pipeline on the route Zagvozd (Croatia) – Posusje – Novi Travnik/Travnik with a branch to Mostar, Klix.ba reports.
