Anything less than Greenland “in the hands of the US” is not acceptable, US President Donald Trump announced.
“Greenland is needed by America for the purpose of national security and is key to the ‘Golden Dome’ we are building,” Trump wrote on the “Trut sošl” network.
According to him, NATO should be the leader of America on the way to “getting” Greenland.
“NATO becomes much stronger and more efficient with Greenland in the hands of the US. Anything less than that is unacceptable,” said Trump.
The foreign ministers of Denmark and Greenland will meet later today at the White House with US Vice President James David Vance.
