On September 17, members of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina arrested a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, E.B. (1999), after 11 persons of Afro-Asian descent were discovered in the smuggling.
Smuggling was prevented during the surveillance of the state border and the control of the passenger motor vehicle Seat, Bosnia and Herzegovina. of national marks, in the town of Kozara in the area of Čajnič, was announced by the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the criminal offense of human smuggling had been committed, the on-duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the judge for the preliminary proceedings of the Court of BiH were informed of the said event, according to whose orders the vehicle and other evidence were temporarily confiscated, and the citizen of BiH was questioned as a suspect.
The smuggled foreign nationals did not have identification documents and declared in the Migrant Questionnaires that they came from Pakistan.
They were handed over to members of the Service for Affairs with Foreigners of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further processing.
Against the suspect BH. citizen, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will be submitted a Report on the committed criminal offense of human smuggling.
