A Delegation of the German Bundeswehr visited BiH Armed Forces

The Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Major General Ivica Jerkić and his colleagues, today received the Chief of the German Armed Forces Support Command, Colonel General Martin Schelleis.

Jerkić informed Schelleis about the state, activities and future tasks of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, opinions were exchanged on the bilateral cooperation in the field of defense between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as on the directions of further development and improvement of cooperation between the two friendly countries.

General Schelleis thanked for the reception and emphasized the firm commitment of the Federal Republic of Germany in continuing to provide support to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in achieving a higher level of operational capabilities and in the implementation of future projects that would help the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in further activities and achieving the necessary capabilities.
