The 35th anniversary of the mobilization of the reserve police force of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be marked tomorrow in Sarajevo, and the central event will be a ceremonial parade of police forces and veterans through the city and the academy at Skenderija, which will recognize the generations that participated in the construction and preservation of the police institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The organizers of the ceremony “From the first call to the defense of the state” are the Sarajevo Canton Government and the Union of Federations – Police Associations of the MUP of the Republic of BiH 1991-1995.
Police officers from several police agencies and cadets of the Police Academy of the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs (FMUP) will participate in the parade, which begins at 2:00 p.m. near the Eternal Fire and ends on the Skenderija plateau.
A special part of the parade will be made up of veterans of the police force from the period 1991-1995. year.
After the parade, a formal academy will be held in the “Mirza Delibašić” hall in Skenderija.
The Sarajevo Philharmonic, Sarajevo National Theater Opera Choir, Mustafa Čizmić Čizma, Tarik Mulaomerović and Ivica Šarić will perform as part of the musical and stage program.
This event will be an opportunity for veterans, current members of police structures, young cadets and citizens to meet in one place, as a sign of unity, mutual respect and the value of serving citizens and the community.
The organizers invited the citizens to go out on the route of the parade, greet the police forces and veterans, and celebrate this significant jubilee with their fellow citizens.
