containers (1)Citizens of Sarajevo can still donate undamaged clothes and shoes that they no longer use to the containers that are located in the schoolyard of the Secondary school center in Hadzici.

This way, we can help those who are in bad financial situation and who are not able to buy some clothes.

The director of the Secondary school center Hadzici Misim Gegic, whose students and teachers designed and realized this project, said that they donated clothes last time to the Institute of Mental Health Bakovici near Fojnica.

He also emphasized that citizens are often bringing more clothes than they can share, thus this project proved to be extremely purposeful.

Humanitarian containers in which citizens can dispose clothes and shoes for the socially disadvantaged people were placed in mid-November 2013 in the backyard of the Secondary School Center Hadzici.

The idea to place the container was given by a group of students and several professors from the Secondary School Center Hadzici, and construction of container was funded by the Municipality of Hadzici.

The aim of the campaign is to draw the attention of citizens that textile is not a waste, and it can be recycled.

Containers for clothes and shoes in Hadzici are the first of this kind in B&H.
