A New Well in the Salt Mine in Tuzla is Put Into Operation

Busotina-solanaYesterday a new exploitation salt mine “B -94” in Tuzla was put into operation. On this occasion, guests got to know more about the works, about the opening of new wells in this area, the technical details of the brine exploitation process, which is one of the raw materials for Salt products.

Two exploration – exploitation wells are planned  to be put into operation for this year, which is a continuation of activities for ensuring that sufficient quantities of brine for consumers of Salt Mine Tuzla.

The Salt mine has received recently from Solana Tuzla the production plan and the demand for salt water for a 10 years period, from which we can see that Solana in 2024 plans an increase of 150 % production in relation to the requirements in 2013.
