A Person wanted by Interpol was arrested at Sarajevo Airport

The members of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina discovered eight persons according to the searches of Interpol, the courts and the police.

Members of the BiH Orašje Border Police Unit deprived I.K. (1968), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia. Namely, the border checks established that the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Posavina Canton is looking for him for the criminal offense of War Crimes against the Civilian Population.

He was controlled upon entering Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Orašje International Border Crossing and handed over to the officers of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Posavina Canton.

Previously, members of this unit deprived N.B. (1964) because it was determined that the Basic Court in Zvornik wanted her to serve a prison sentence. The BiH citizen was controlled upon entering BiH at the Šamac crossing and handed over to the officers of the Bijeljina Judicial Police District Center.

Members of the Gradiška GPBiH Unit, upon entering our country at the Gradiška crossing, deprived T.Z. (1989), after it was established that the Gradiška Police Department had issued a search warrant for her for the crime of child abduction. The BiH citizen was handed over to the officers of the Gradiška Police Department.

Previously, members of this unit deprived Z.B. (1984) because the Police Department of Banja Luka announced a search for him for the criminal offense of aggravated theft. Bh. the citizen was controlled upon entering Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Gradiška crossing point and handed over to the officers of the Banja Luka Police Administration.

Members of the Unit of the GPBiH Sarajevo Airport, on a flight from Vienna, deprived N.H. (1983). It was established that the Municipal Court in Travnik is claiming this BiH. citizen in order to serve a prison sentence. He was handed over to the officers of the Judicial Police Center in Sarajevo Canton.

In addition to the above, members of this unit deprived O.C. of their freedom on the flight to Istanbul. (1988), after it was determined that Interpol Wiesbaden had issued a warrant for him for the crime of Injury Causing Death. The citizen of the Federal Republic of Germany was handed over to the officers of the Judicial Police of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The members of the GPBiH Unit Velika Kladuša handed over A.M. (1993) to the officers of the Judicial Police Center in the Una-Sana Canton, after it was established that he was wanted by the Municipal Court in Bihać for the criminal offense of Assault on an official in the performance of security duties and the Municipal Court in Velika Kladuša for the criminal offense of Violent Behavior. A BiH citizen is controlled upon entering BiH at the Velika Kladuša crossing.

Members of the Brod GPBiH Unit deprived M.H. (1987) when leaving our country at the Brod crossing. It was established that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton issued a search warrant for her for the criminal offense of forging documents. The BiH citizen was handed over to the officers of the MUP of the Sarajevo Canton.
