Rescuer Miroslav Vujanovic donated 5.000 BAM to the people of the Republic of Turkey, the Mountain Rescue Service – Bijeljina station announced.

It is about the money he received as a reward for participating in the rescue mission of earthquake victims in Turkey.

“Even though we do not have his consent, we still have to publish this. Our member Miroslav Vujanovic has paid the citizens of the Republic of Turkey the full amount of 5.000 BAM that he received from the President of the Republika Srpska (RS) and as he told us in the interview, he is grateful to the President for giving him the opportunity to help the injured population of the Republic of Turkey in this way. Congratulations, brother, you are our pride,” wrote the Mountain Rescue Service.

To recall, a large number of rescuers from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) participated in the rescue mission in Turkey, and their help on the ground was very significant.

In addition, citizens and organizations from BiH collected significant amounts of aid for the people of Turkey and Syria who were affected by the devastating earthquake.
