An earthquake measuring five on the Richter scale hit Pazarcik district in Kahramanmaras, Turkey.
The Emergency Situations Administration of the Republic of Turkey (AFAD) stated that the earthquake was registered at 9:31 a.m. local time.
The epicenter was in Pazarcik. The earthquake was registered at a depth of seven kilometers.
Kahramanmaras Governor Mukerrm Unluer confirmed that the area was hit by an earthquake and that teams are on the ground.
“There is no negative situation for now,” Unluer said.
The earthquake was also felt in Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Adiyaman, Kilis and Sanliurfa.
