A strong Message from Lebanon: No One in the World is safe anymore, Explosion looms on the Horizon

At a United Nations (UN) Security Council meeting, Lebanon’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdallah Bou Habib, warned that “no one in this world is safe anymore” following an attack on communication devices in the country.

He also presented a photograph showing severe injuries, which he claimed resulted from the attack, where devices were remotely activated, reportedly by Israel, according to security sources.

“We are not seeking revenge. We are only seeking justice,” he declared.

Habib called on the UN Security Council to “end the war on all fronts” and warned the world not to be “silent witnesses to the major explosion looming on the horizon.”

“Today, before it’s too late, you must understand that this explosion will spare neither the East nor the West and will push us back into the dark ages. The choice is yours – will your esteemed council intervene swiftly and decisively to silence the drums of war?” Habib questioned.

After the explosions of pagers and handheld radios, Israel targeted Hezbollah positions on Thursday, and two days ago, its military attacked a district in southern Beirut.

Lebanese authorities reported that at least 14 people were killed in the attack – five of whom were children, according to Lebanon’s national news agency – while dozens were injured.

It was confirmed that among the dead was senior commander Ibrahim Aqil, who had also been wanted by the United States (U.S.) for his alleged role in the bombing of the U.S. embassy in Beirut in 1983.
