An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale hit the area of Nikšić in Montenegro, and according to initial information, it was felt as far as Bileća in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to information available at the European Seismological Center (EMSC), the earthquake was felt at 21:08 ten kilometers from Nikšić, in a northeast and northwest direction.
Also, ground shaking was felt as far as Bosnia and Herzegovina, more specifically Bileća, Trebinje and Gacko.
For now, there is no information about possible material damage.
According to Twitter users, the earthquake lasted less but was more intense. Also, according to the comments, several more earthquakes followed, which were significantly weaker.
Also, citizens report that they felt the ground shaking in Sarajevo, but for now there is no official record that the earthquake also hit the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
