Due to threatening reports to security and military facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), the Armed Forces of BiH(AFBiH) have raised the level of security, it was confirmed from the police agencies.

Around 3 p.m

The reports arrived on Wednesday at around 3 pm, after which State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) sent a letter to police agencies and companies involved in the production of weapons to increase security measures due to possible attacks.

Inspections of barracks and military industry facilities are ongoing, and attempts are being made to find out if there is a real danger, and SIPA is also working intensively to find the IP address of the person who sent the threat.

It was found out that the threatening mail arrived from an IP address from Bulgaria.

Who’s behind it

The email claims that “there is information that terrorist attacks will be committed against military facilities and arms industry facilities.”

SIPA checks the domain through the provider, in order to determine who is behind the message. Because of everything, the Armed Forces were informed, in order to raise the level of security to a higher level as a precaution. Although the IP address is from Bulgaria, it does not mean that the threat came from this country and that it is about some other location.

Most of the threatening messages arrived in the previous days via a domain from Bulgaria.

SIPA acts according to the order of the Prosecutor’s Office. Intelligence – Security Agency (OSA), Europol and the NATO headquarters in BiH were informed about everything, according to Avaz.
