Foundation for new communications Dokukino in partnersip with the Association of government communications of Southeast Europe SEECOM, with the support of the Embassy of the United Sates in Bosnia Herzegovina, is organizing a conference named “Government 2.0”. The conference will take place on Friday 28 and in Saturday 29 March in the Artistic gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will gather the representatives of the government, civil sector, citizens and media.
The conference will gather managers for the public relations of the regional media, activists from the civil society, citizens and media who will talk about the government which cares about the needs of its citizens and about the ways by which citizens’ needs and requests can be heard.
Apart from good and bad examples from the practice, the special accent will be put on the recent protests around Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the self organization of the citizens’ plenums, on the social networks and on new technologies which can contribute to better communication between government and citizens.
“The aim of the project is to have on one place the representatives of the government, civil society, citizens and media and to find modalities which will enhance the communication between the previously mentioned groups. Only through their synergy we can achieve the constructive criteria and to the real participant democracy”, said the CEO of the Foundation Dokukino, Vildana Drljević.
