The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, will participate, at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Ervin Ibrahimović, at the ministerial meeting of the Berlin Process, which will be held on October 1, 2026 in Pržno, as part of the Montenegrin presidency of the Berlin Process.

The meeting will be an opportunity for a strategic exchange of views on the future of the Berlin Process in a changing geopolitical environment. In the context of the renewed momentum of the European Union enlargement process, the talks will focus on ways to further anchor the transformative effects of the EU enlargement process in the priority policies of the Western Balkans, ensuring that the reforms bring tangible and sustainable benefits to citizens.

The ministerial meeting in Pržno will bring together the ministers of foreign affairs of the Western Balkan countries, representatives of the countries participating in the Berlin Process, the European Union and regional organizations.

The Berlin process was launched in 2014 with the aim of strengthening regional cooperation and supporting the European integration of the countries of the Western Balkans. Through this process, cooperation is achieved in a number of areas of importance for the citizens and economies of the region, including economy, infrastructure, mobility, education, security and green transition.
