A Total of 37 Years Of Prison Sentences for War Crimes in Trusina

truisinaMensur Memić is sentenced to ten years in prison, Nedžad Hodžić to 12, and Nihad Bojadžić to 15 for murder of prisoners of war during the war and armed conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the municipality of Konjic, in the village of Trusina.

Their sentences were pronounced Before Section I for War Crimes of the Court of BiH.

The ruling has two of the defendants, Dževad Salčin and Senad Hakalović, exempt from guilt.

Memić was sentenced for a war crime against prisoners of war, for which he was convicted. Hodžić was convicted for the same crime, while Bojadžić was also sentenced for war crimes against the civilian population.

He was sentenced for war crimes against prisoners of war sentenced to ten years, and for the criminal offense of war crimes against civilians 12 years in prison, but he received a joint prison sentence of 15 years.

Salčin was acquitted of criminal offenses of war crimes against prisoners of war and civilians, while Hakalović was charged only for the civilian population.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed on 11 March 2010, the indictment against the five accused.

The accused, as alleged in the Indictment, participated in the pillaging, inhumane treatment, intimidation and terror against the civilian population of Croat ethnicity in the village of Trusina.
