A total solar eclipse, or a perfect alignment of the Earth, Moon and Sun, will occur on April 8 and will be visible from Canada, Mexico and the United States of America.
The eclipse will last four and a half minutes, and it will be possible to watch it on the website and YouTube channel of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), reports Sky News.
Unlike a partial solar eclipse, a total solar eclipse darkens the sky as if it were twilight and allows you to see the Sun’s corona, i.e. its bright white atmosphere.
