The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that around 60,000 pregnant Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip are suffering from malnutrition and dehydration due to Israeli attacks.

On the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Day, the Ministry of Health in Gaza warned of the tragedy to which Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip are exposed.

“About 60,000 pregnant women in the Gaza Strip suffer from malnutrition, dehydration and lack of proper health care. About 5,000 give birth every month in difficult, unsafe and unhealthy conditions due to bombing and displacement,” the statement said.

It was also emphasized that 49 percent of the population of Gaza are women, and that they suffer from serious problems due to unhealthy food and malnutrition during the Israeli attacks that have lasted for the last five months, AA writes.
