Accident in the Mine in Han Bila: No One’s Life is in Danger

mineRescue teams have completed the rescue mission of miners from the pit in the mine Abid Lolic in Han Bila.

In hospitals in Travnik and Han Bila was admitted a total of 15 miners, who were diagnosed with burns and carbon monoxide poisoning.

Miners who were injured in the accident in the pit of the mine Abid Lolic in Han Bila are stable, as confirmed from the hospital, “Dr. fra Mato Nikolic” in Nova Bila, where several miners were admitted for treatment.

In the Public Institution Hospital Travnik are several miners whose state is also stable.

It is assumed that burning of methane is the cause of accident in the mine, but the exact cause will be known after the completion of an official investigation.

Rusmir Prohan, spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton, said that the accident happened at 6 pm, when an explosion and the collapse of the mine took place.

At the time of the accident, between 40 and 50 miners was in the pit.
