Acting High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Louis J. Crishock visited the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina today in Sarajevo, where he discussed preparations for the 2026 General Elections.
Representatives of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH) informed him about the current activities in the framework of the preparations for conducting the elections.
Among them are the introduction of specific election technologies, election administration education, and activities aimed at timely informing voters.
During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the importance of an independent and transparent election process. Special emphasis was placed on preserving electoral integrity and further improving the electoral process.
The interlocutors also discussed strengthening citizens’ trust in the electoral system. The visit took place at a time when institutions are continuing preparations for the 2026 General Elections.
