Activists spilled Red Paint on US Secretary of State’s Car

A group of pro-Palestinian activists protested in front of the house of US Secretary of State Antonio Blinken in the US state of Virginia.

Activists at one point spilled red paint on Blinken’s car as he pulled out in front of the house.

The gathered citizens carried Palestinian flags and shouted “Shame on you”, “You are a war criminal” and “Stop the killing in Gaza”.

At least 22,438 Palestinians have been killed and 57,614 wounded in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip since October 7, the Palestinian enclave’s health authorities said Thursday.

“Children and women make up 70 percent of the victims,” Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said.

He added that 125 people were killed and 318 injured in Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours.

Israel launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip after a cross-border attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on October 7, which Israeli authorities said killed around 1,200 people.

The attacks left the Gaza Strip in ruins. About 60 percent of the enclave’s infrastructure was damaged or destroyed, and nearly two million residents were displaced, AA writes.
