BiH and the Kingdom of Morocco have good Bilateral Relations

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) Denis Zvizdić met today in Marrakesh with the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Speaker of the House of Advisors of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco, Rachid Talbi Alami and Enaam Mayar.

Zvizdić, Alami and Mayara pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Morocco have good bilateral relations and that the two countries have an interest in strengthening cooperation in numerous areas. They agreed that in the coming period inter-parliamentary cooperation should be improved through the exchange of experiences between the two parliaments.

They also pointed out the importance and the possibility of cooperation between the two countries in the field of economy, especially in the sector of renewable energy sources in which the Kingdom of Morocco has very good results and positive experiences, and in the field of tourism where there is significant scope for cooperation in terms of knowledge exchange and experiences, establishing a visa-free regime and increasing tourist visits between the two countries.

Zvizdić invited the Speaker of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina and pointed out that this will strengthen the relations between the two countries.

Zvizdić is in Marrakesh for the conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which is dedicated to promoting regional and global peace through interfaith dialogue.

As he said, they also discussed the joint work of parliaments and religious leaders to promote dialogue, and information and good practices on the cooperation of parliaments were exchanged.
