Activities of the Project Gold Continue & Opening of 100 Jobs

gold_projekatThe joint project of American and Swedish governments- Improvement of local development project (GOLD) will formalized the start of a joint cooperation in the field of local economic development with 5 partner municipalities.

On this occasion, the Director of Economic Department of USAID in B&H Thomas Rojas and Mayors of Municipalities Bosanska Krupa, Bužim, Cazin, Velika Kladuša and Sanski Most will sign today a Memorandum of Understanding in Bihać.

USAID and Sida through GOLD project will work with partners to open 100 working places in the textile industry sector.

Main goal of USAID /Sida -Improvement of local development project (GOLD) is to give support to local communities in economic development, to attract investments and to open new working places.

USAID/Sida GOLD project is developing a model for sustainable local economic development with partner municipalities to create a model of economic development, which will be applicable throughout the country as the bases for sustainable economic growth.
