Members of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the Report on the committed criminal act, handed over two suspects, citizens of Afghanistan, to the acting prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On Tuesday, the BiH Border Police announced that Afghan citizens were previously deprived of their liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they had committed the crimes of international human trafficking under Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina and human smuggling under Article 189 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The aforementioned activities are the result of several months of work by police officers of the Border Police of BiH and officers of the Service for Affairs with Foreigners of BiH, during which it was documented that the suspected citizens of Afghanistan committed the criminal acts they are charged with,” the announcement states.
It is added that further work on the case continues under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
