13281689_1187911614593126_1072678759_nCause of the fire which broke out in the business space HFT, precisely in Konzum, in Alipašino Polje on May 20 is still unknown. Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton questioned several witnesses about the circumstances of the fire, said the spokeswoman of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton Azra Bavčić.

According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, the investigation is completed and the facility is secured by members of a security agency.

Nearly 40 firefighters fought with the fire which broke out in the morning hours and they localized it in the late afternoon hours. The greatest problem was the roof construction under which the fire was burning and which started collapsing. One firefighter was injured while extinguishing the fire. All glasses on the facility shattered due to fire.

Although there are no official estimations of the damage, already now it can be said that it will be measured in millions.

The smell of burned materials can still be felt in the vicinity of this facility and in the surrounding business offices.
