Agreements for Mining Gold and Iron in Gornji Vakuf Signed

zlatoAgreements were signed in Travnik today for the allocation of two concessions in municipality Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje.

The Director of ‘Glanz Investment’ from Sarajevo Ronald Dan Hon and the Minister of Economy in the Central Bosnia Canton Sedžad Milanović signed agreements on the concession for research of iron, gold and previous metals.

Research for the iron mine on the site of Radovan will cost around 2 million KM, and research for the gold mine on the Mačkara–Mračaj site is estimated to be around 3 million KM.

The investment potential is estimated to be around 15 million KM for the exploration of iron ore and 20 million for the exploration of gold. This is an investment from Malaysia that is expected to provide around 450 jobs in the area of Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje.
