Assistance for farmersWithin their visit to business associations in Bihac, a delegation of city administration of Bihac visited the production facilities of companies Poljosementi and Agrodar in the headquarters of the former factory “Polietilenka”.

Company Agrodar from Bihac purchased the factory “Polietilenka” from Bihac in the process of bankruptcy last year, and owners have invested almost 4 million BAM in new production facilities so far.

According to Aldin Kuduzovic, director of Agrodar, the total investment will amount to around 10 million BAM, and so far were made the largest and most modern trucks in the region as well as shock chambers with the capacity of 2,500 square meters.

In the upcoming period, in companies Agrodar and Poljosementi are planning new investments, primarily through the construction of a modern garden center.

“We are planning to buy about 2,500 tons of cucumbers from 1,500 cooperates and about 600 tons of raspberries, 600 tons of chestnut and about 200 tons of sweet peppers in 2017. What is important for us is that all production is already agreed for the EU market and negotiations with the German partners on the organization of the processing of vegetables and fruits in plants of Agrodar are currently taking place,” said Kuduzovic.
