BiH records Increase in Revenues from Indirect Taxes

Revenues from indirect taxes for the six months of 2023 amounted to five billion BAM and are higher by 297 million BAM or 6.33 percent compared to the same period in 2022 when they amounted to 4.703 billion BAM, announced the Administration for Indirect Taxation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the six months of 2023, the Indirect Tax Administration returned one billion and 89 million BAM to the economy, which is 93 million BAM more than in the same period last year.

The net collected revenues that were distributed to beneficiaries for the six months of 2023, namely the state, the entities and the Brčko District of BiH, amounted to 3 billion and 911 million BAM and are higher by 205 million BAM compared to the revenues from the Single accounts received by users for the same period in 2022.

In June 2023, 910 million BAM indirect taxes were collected, 41 million BAM more than in June 2022.

For the financing of state institutions, an amount of 504 million BAM has been allocated for the six months of 2023.
