Last weekend, European Junior Karate Championship was held in Turkish city of Konya. In junior competition, 17 year old Ahmed Brica from Gornji Vakuf won the silver medal.

Brica is the best young karateka of BiH, triple champion of BiH, who in ten years of his career won 126 medals.

He defeated Daniel Afsanov from Israel, Edis Šabić from Sweden, Ilja Tsibisov from Estonia and Raul Cuerva Mori from Spain, and lost to Burak Uygur from Turkey in the finals.

”This was his first European tournament, and he pleasantly surprised us. His future is yet to come”, said Ahmed’s father.
