In Syria, Pomozi.ba operates through partners from the Swiss Barakah Charity, with whom they jointly ordered 30 tents in the amount of 12 thousand dollars. A few days ago, they started preparing meals, and now they are intensifying their activities in Syria.

Maja Arslanagic-Hrbat, spokeswoman for the Pomozi.ba Association, recalled that this association previously paid 100.000 BAM to humanitarian organizations which are currently in Syria.

”They already started distributing food packages and ready-made meals to people who lost their homes in the earthquake. Also, we started helping with the help of the organization Swiss Barakah Charity. With them, we ordered 30 tents in the amount of 12.000 dollars. Considering that they informed us that there is a great need for tents and that people have nowhere to sleep, we ordered sleeping sponges and blankets,” Arslanagic-Hrbat stated for Anatolia.

As she said, Pomozi.ba teams still cannot directly distribute aid to Syria.

”We will continue to help in this way,” added Arslanagic-Hrbat.
