Albania will send additional troops to the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.

The addition of KFOR forces in Kosovo occurs especially after the Serbian terrorist attack on September 24 in Banjska, in the north of Kosovo.

Albanian Ambassador to Kosovo Petrit Malaj, speaking about the security situation in Kosovo, points out that the risk of a new attack from Serbia could be permanent.

The Albanian diplomat points out for KosovaPress that he will bring an additional 40 soldiers to KFOR next year.

Ambassador Malaj said that currently the number of Albanian soldiers in the NATO mission in Kosovo exceeds 100.

The Malaysian diplomat also commented on Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani’s statement that “Serbia is planning new attacks”.

Kosovo’s heads of state assess the danger coming from Serbia for peace and security in the country and the region.

President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani informed the European leaders, as she said, about the danger coming from Serbia for peace and security in the country and the region.

Bundeswehr Brigadier General Ralf Hammerstein said these days that the security in Kosovo is deteriorating significantly and that NATO is increasing its presence in the spring, also with the help of the Bundeswehr – the German armed forces.

Also, the American Robert Lansing Institute expressed concern about new attacks from Serbia on Kosovo, especially after the September 24 incident, Kosova Press writes.
