Alen Bojcic from Mostar saved the life of an unknown man who wanted to jump off Tito’s bridge on Monday. After preventing the young man from jumping from the bridge in the Neretva River, Bojcic immediately called the police and an ambulance.

“As I was walking with my wife and son on the bridge, I noticed a man who was acting out loud. I didn’t want to get away. I followed him. He walked over the fence. I ran and managed to catch him. I wanted to help him, I asked him what was bothering him … He was saying something, but I didn’t understand it. He spoke inarticulately,” Bojcic said.
